S. Alison Aminzadeh, Associate
Alison Aminzadeh joined Dirska & Levin in January of 2018. Alison is an alumna of Maryvale Preparatory School, where she was captain of the Mock Trial team and a two-time nominee for the All-Star Award. Alison pursued her passion for law at Towson University, where she graduated early with degrees in Political Science and Psychology. Alison then attended the University of Baltimore School of Law where she was elected President of the Students Supporting the Women’s Law Center. She also served as a board member for the Women’s Law Center of Maryland and continues to be involved with the organization today. Alison was also selected as the first-ever Fellow for the Center for Applied Feminism at the law school and also served as a Fellow for the Center for International and Comparative Law.
Alison was a staff editor for the Journal of International Law and a member of the Thomas Tang Moot Court team. As a Rule 16 Attorney for the Human Trafficking Prevention Project under the Civil Advocacy law clinic, she represented survivors, lobbied members of the U.S. Congress, and co-authored with her supervising attorney a journal article for the University of Maryland Journal of Race, Religion, Gender & Class. In her spare time, Alison was a Mock Trial coach for the Junior State’s Attorney Program, Peer Advisor through the LCDO, and member of the BCBA and WBA. After graduation, Alison served as a judicial law clerk for the Circuit Court of Baltimore County.
